哈哈... 我的理解是, body 是不會want的, 只會present & perceive meaning, 是body的mind/soul才能want到東西出來。
所以: Next research question can be "What do you want from your body?" 'you' refer to mind/subjectivity.
在外國的研究中, 單純討論身體和neoliberal capitalism的關係已經有很多了, 好似: Donald M. Lowe (1995) The Body in Late-Capitalist USA. 同時, 寫body resistance的好像離不開collective movement或對我和他的關係認知.
如果可以在psychic和social的層面著墨, 可能會有趣一點。同時看看有沒有particular issue作討論基礎, 那就更豐富了。
過了八月再想吧。
為什麼不會want?作為一個Freud信徒，身體都會有欲望，而欲望是透過id在潛意識之中出現，而透過re-presentation於意識中出現，而同時受到ego和superego的影響，在你的意識中出現。所以，身體也會有want有欲望。(唔識，但死要同你吵)
你是Freud的信徒？！我對S. Freud的認識不多, 以後有時間都會多讀他的書。
但是, 我所理解的body,want和ego跟你所說的有出入。在我來看, body 是傳遞和表現訊息的個體, 這看法在結構主意和現象學的發展都有貫通之處。在後者的討論中, "Want" 或"欲望"的出現, 可能是經個體接受訊息連繫到意識, 身體只是一個介體, 作為表現個體思想意志的軀體。這個討論的前設當然是建立在自我控制的身體作討論。
所以, 身體可表現出個人的思想, 非身體主導, 而是mind透過身體表現自己的意思而作出行為。
